Why should you attend?

Social media is a crowded space particularly in the design and architecture industries. In the UK alone, millions of people use social media every day. How can you make sure you reach the right people in the right way?

Using practical sessions as well as taught content we will help you understand your audiences and how to reach them, choose the best platforms and create a content plan for you to make the most of your channels.

What is included?

The workshop will be broken down into four sessions with a short break. It's a busy workshop but we hope you will leave feeling inspired and ready to tackle your social channels and get the most from them. The sessions include:

1. Understanding your audience and creating personas

In this session, you will learn everything you need to know about personas, what they look like, why they are important and how to create your own.

2. Building a sociable brand

In this hour, you will learn about a tried and tested framework for building a sociable brand that communicates your brand essence whilst building authentic relationships with your customers. From using the right hashtags and finding the right influencers to creating and sharing the right content.

3. How to succeed on Instagram

In this session, we will cover how the platform works, who uses it and why you should prioritise it for your brand. You will learn how the algorithm works. Finally, we will teach you the right strategy to succeed on Instagram.

4. How to succeed on Facebook

In this session, we will cover how the platform works, who uses it and why you should prioritise it for your brand. You will learn how the algorithm works. Finally, we will teach you the right strategy to succeed on Facebook.

For both platforms, you will be provided with best practice examples for your industry/similar industries so you can spend time reflecting on what 'good' looks like, what this means for your strategy, what you are doing wrong and what you need to do more of.

Who is this workshop for?

This workshop is ideal for small to medium business owners, managers and solo-preneurs, who are looking for an overall insight into using social media to grow and engage their business audience.

As a communications agency, we specialise in the design, interiors, architecture, luxury and product design spaces so it is particularly suited to you if you are in these industries although the content can broadly apply to many other sectors too.

On the day

Please arrive promptly for a 9.30am start.

We would recommend bringing a notebook and/or fully charged smart-phone, tablet or laptop from which you can access social media and take notes during the sessions.

We will provide tasks during the sessions with handouts which we will bring.

Unlimited tea and coffee will be provided throughout the session and pastries on arrival.
